Sparks live reviews below/Quick thanks

If you've come to read the Sparks reviews, just scroll down below. Thanks to everyone who's taken a look at them, and extra thanks for all of the positive feedback (and any corrections of mistakes). I'll have a review up soon of the new album, a link to some pictures (review in a week or two, pictures in a few days), along with getting back to reviewing other stuff. I hope many of you will come back to check this page out.

Very good to see these takes, especially since I've only been able to catch the online broadcasts (and very happy I've been to do that!).

Thank you so much for the great and entertaining reviews! There are some of us here in the states that wish we were in the UK singing along as well!

How do, why only 5 gigs?
Big Beat was my favourite so far as they really put the effort in to a half full venue who made a tremendous noise, it was so intimate that Russell even stopped the encore cos he "f****d it up" and did the song again, blindin gig.
Be interersted to know your thoughts on the sound in the venue and the reason for putting everything through the PA. Spoilt it for me, stand any where behind the balcany line and the sound is poor (could barely get past the rear bar last night thanks to fire scare at Earls Court tube and all the johnny come lately's for Heaven). Keyboard sound is generally low and inaudible, ditto some guitar solos and the sound guy isnt really ridin the faders very well at all.As for the drum kit well it sounds terrible, floor toms creating bass surges at least once a night. Perfomance wise Maels are brilliant, the albums are genius, Russel's voice still amazes but its killing me up and down from Brum like a whoers drawers!. Worth it though. Keep blogging. Cheers. Ant.

I only did five shows because I could only afford a week long stay in London. It's an expensive city, even if you just eat take away most of the time!
